Writing With Technology

Day Two:

Write a reflection about the article your chose to read.

Discussion and share time.

Morning:

• Use P. 10 of Picture prompts as a writing prompt.  101 Picture Prompts
• Use p. 46 Mona Lisa as a writing prompt.               101 Picture Prompts
• Write about what is on your mind.

 Discuss Looking to Write to use in Art and social studies.

Use the civil war photo.  Write a letter home as if you are one of the soldiers in this photo

Time to research and brainstorm for using images to impact student learning.

Afternoon:

Find an image and write a bio poem.  Your choice of the following prompts.

Science teachers—plant, animal, or other science related item.

Music—find an image of a famous composer, Art—find an image of a famous artist,

LA—use either an author or a book character  to write a biopoem.

To develop a resource list of images or a folder with images stored.

Work on your projects.

Begin thinking about ideas for a lesson on using images as writing prompts.
