DI Project Possibilities

Must do project 1 and then one other optional project form 2-4 Due July 1, 2008

Project 1:
Email one of your pieces of writing with the image used for that writing. Writing needs to be a revised polished piece.
Project 2:
Develop a lesson in your content area for using images to encourage students to write in greater detail, find their voice, analyze visual medium, compare and contrast writing.
Lesson should have the following:
- Short overview (one or two sentences)
- Grade level
- One or two standards ***see standards above
- Student objectives (one or two)
- Resources 3 or 4
- Instructional Activities
- Assessment
- Extension/Modifications—-If using the poem formats from poemcrazy by Susan Goldsmith Wooldridge even identified students can create a piece.
Project 3:
Create a network vertical file for image resources for your content area. This should include at least 8 resources.
Project 4:
Related project approved by the instructor.
