Collage in PowerPoint
Review photos you wish to use to create a collage.
Decide on the order of inserting the photos. Photos will layer one over the other. You will need to arrange, size, and maybe even crop some of your photos.
Open PowerPoint
Select New
Select blank presentation
Select a blank slide in Layouts
Insert photos as planned
Arrange photos on the blank slide as items on a canvas.
A background may be added, but it may take away from the importance of the photos.
Go to File
Select Save As
In the Save As dialogue box you have three options to consider: Where, What, Type
Where—My documents, a flash/jump drive, your network drive.
What name? In the File name space type a name you will recognize.
Type—in the Save as type space select to save it as a presentation first.
Go back to File, Save As and select JPGE File Interchange Format from the drop down menu in the Save as type area.
Note—Once you save it as a JPGE you will not be able to change or make corrections to that file. This is the reason it is recommended you save it as a presentation. In the presentation format you are able to change and make corrections.
JPGE—allows you to use this collage as you would a photo.
